A leading Investment company in the City have a new opportunity for an experienced SQL Server DBA to join the team. The ideal applicant must have strong SQL Server 2005, 2000, Oracle RAC (10g) and Windows Cluster Admin. The purpose of this role is to ensure the integrity and availability of all database environments. You will respond to and resolve problems as they arise and highlight potential capacity and operational issues with the environment taking preventative action where necessary. As a DBA you will be involved in project, infrastructure and support activities from the establishing of requirements through to ongoing support. This client is in the middle of a platform upgrade and is migrating from HPUX to Redhat Linux, having Redhat Linux is extremely beneficial. This is an immediate requirement; therefore, candidates applying for this position must be available immediately or short notice.
