Major Financial Services Company requires a Solutions Architect for a contract role based in Surrey. Job Summary: Solution Architect required to maintain the integrity of the Companies IT architecture landscape by ensuring all proposed IT Delivery Programmes and Projects comply with the overall Enterprise Architecture model and architectural blueprint. Working with the Companies Managed Service Provider to govern the implementation of logical and physical Solution Design(s) that reflect business requirements and lead the Solutions Design Team to resolve and when appropriate escalate Key Design Decisions to ensure the development of cost effective, operable and robust systems. Key Responsibilities: and#x2022;Retain accountability for Architecture and Design throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that the delivered solution is compliant with its original design. and#x2022;Commission, and where appropriate lead, third party providers to design solutions congruent with the overall Enterprise Architectural blueprint and that are compliant with the Companies Solution Design standards and policies. and#x2022;Educate and monitor the Managed Service Partner to ensure that they clearly understand the LandGand#x2019;s existing and future IT Strategy and Systems Architecture such that they develop solutions that are complaint with it. and#x2022;Operate a zero tolerance approach on all solution design compatibility and integrity concerns, liaising with Operational Architecture and IT Infrastructure technical resources to ensure systems changes are clearly understood and aligned across IT applications. and#x2022;Assess and select and#x201C;packageand#x201D; IT solutions in partnership with and the Managed Service Partner, giving due consideration to the Companies Enterprise Architecture blueprint and overall IT Strategy. and#x2022;Define, develop and deliver, processes and systems to ensure a consistent and good level of service that means customers expectations are met, is consistent with what we have communicated and is aligned to the Companies Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly policy. Skills, Knowledge and Experience required: and#x2022;Experience of designing large-scale, applications and solutions and#x2022;Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and#x2022;Possess relevant Financial Services sector experience and#x2022;Familiarity with all stages of the software development life-cycle and the typical problems associated with the implementation of large-scale distributed systems and#x2022;Excellent overall knowledge of technology and emerging technology trends and#x2022;Strategic thinker while also outcome orientated and#x2022;Highly motivated with good analytical skills and#x2022;Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and#x2022;A consultative approach and business requirement focused and#x2022;Strong interpersonal skills including persuading, influencing and negotiating and#x2022;Experience of working in environments with outsourced solution delivery Randstad Technologies Ltd is a leading specialist recruitment business for the IT industry.
