My client, a large complex GOvernment organisation based in the South East/Home Counties are have an immediate requirement for a System Support Analyst to come on board immediately. The nature of the project is a desktop deployment project. The specific parts of expertise for support on are; 1) Setting up terminal services based in windows server 2008 - the work is specifically around remote applications and load balancing - (Any experience of application virtualisation aka App-v or softgrid very useful) 2) Migrating system management server (SMS) to system centre configuration manager (SCCM) a. setting it up for server and desktop patch management b. setting up sccm for os and new pc deployment (osd) c. rollout of night watchman pc power management, integrated with sccm 3) preparing desktop software for deployment using a combination of sccm and terminal services In order to be successful you are required to have the following experience, ideally within public sector; SCCM - SMS GCSX patch management Setting up SCCM/WSUS for desktop patching and server patching Server hardening and defining hardening requirements retro-harden existing servers Please reply with updated resumes in the first instance ONLY! only call if you have ALL the desired experience and are available immediately in order to speed this process up.
