A leading trading organisation within the Wiltshire area is currently recruiting for an Oracle Analyst Programmer to Analyse and prioritise business processes and requirements accurately to produce high quality and timely enhancements to existing systems, or develop new systems where appropriate. Furthermore you will be required to become the first point of contact for application support the development work will include design, code, testing and implementing user change requests as well as appropriate project work. As a key member of the support team manage the resolution of system faults from initial logging through analysis of the problem, correction and solution implementation. Key Skills Area: C#.NET, VB, JScript, VBScript, ASP, C++, Object-Oriented Programming Design Principles Experience of SQL 2005 Enterprise Manager and Query Analyser (T-SQL programming language). Experience of E*Gate 4.5.3 middleware product Experience of multi-country, multi-company projects Experience of full project life cycle and formal project management method - Prince 2 Have extensive commercial experience of the following: The Analysis and prioritisation of business processes and requirements to produce high quality and timely enhancements to existing systems, or to develop new systems where appropriate. Data modelling and database design skills are required. Oracle RDBMS 9i and above Oracle Forms / Reports (10g) PL/SQL programming language Oracle Designer/2000 toolset Further to the above skill set it is also essential that the candidate meets the below requirements; Must have free movement around the European Community. Customer focussed Possesses a broad knowledge of a trading business, its functions and ideally has specific Subject Matter Expertise on NETA/BETTA market participant systems associated with EDT and BMRA communications. Will have proven ability to work as part of a team. Manage the resolution of system faults from initial logging through analysis of the problem, correction and solution implementation. Will be able to operate calmly in a high-pressure environment, and be capable of prioritising and working on multiple tasks at any one time.
