Java Architect, Ecommerce, Retail Banking, Java, mobile technology, London. CONTRACT Our client, a leading name in the global mobile banking and payments industry is in need of a contract Java Technical Architect with previous experience on eCommerce projects and/or Retail Banking java based solutions. Having won a number of new clients they are in urgent need of a design authority to work on their applications. Experience: To work with the Technology Office/Technical Design Authority to establish the technical architecture for new products and acting as a bridge between the Strategy/Product teams and the Delivery teams, the successful candidate will work on future functionality and integration of 3rd parties to establish solutions architectures not only in the UK but across Europe, the US, Far East and Africa. The role requires a mixture of technical, business and people skills. Essential skills: Knowledge within Ecommerce and/or Retail Banking and#x2022;Previous experience as technical or solutions architect and#x2022;At least 4 years working on Java enterprise solutions Highly Desirable and#x2022;Technical architect within financial services and#x2022;Technical architect within mobile phone environment Desirable and#x2022;Experience with J2ME, iPhone, Android, Symbian, BREW development and#x2022;Mobile industry experience Key roles are: and#x2022;Taking product ideas and developing high level technical solutions for implementing the functionality internationally and#x2022;Working with banks, mobile operators and other 3rd parties to establish technical solutions for integration and combined functionality and#x2022;Design and documentation of solutions and#x2022;Liasing with external parties and internally to ensure the best solution is reached. and#x2022;Working with all parties to ensure successful transition from initial idea to final delivery.
