An experienced Senior SQL Server Developer required to join a large public sector organisation. You will provide SQL Server development expertise as needed to develop and support a web based application. You will be a Highly skilled and experienced senior SQL Server developer required to develop and support a web based application. The system is a web based, Service Orientated Architecture, developed in VB.Net, ASP.Net, Web Services, Reporting Services and SQL Server database. Designed to support 10,000+ online users. The system uses two way interfaces to external distributors using webservices. Management Reports are supplied via Reporting Services. The following skills are essential; Developed and supported systems capable of hosting 10,000+ users and high capacity batch processing; Developed using all following tools:- VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2000 and 2008; Expert in SQL Server TSQL backend batch processes; Expert in SQL Server database design; Expert in SQL server performance tuning; SQL Server TSQL backend batch processes; SQL Server database design; SQL server performance tuning; VB.NET; ASP.NET; Windows Services; DataSets; Web Services; UML; Object Orientation; Design Patterns; .NET Framework; Visual Studio .NET (2008).
