| Contract Description: |
A Senior Developer is required with the essential skills as follows: C/C++, Unix, Linux, UML and XML. Role: To work as part of the clients development team performing software development throughout the entire life cycle from inception, design, code and test into support. The role could also include 2D/3D graphics, simulation, debriefing, mission planning and flight modelling. The clients project is hosted on a HP Linux platform on PC hardware with the possibility of moving to a Windows platform and the current development environment is built around the rational clear case configuration management tool. Desirable skills are any Clear Case/Clear Quest, Motif/GUI design, Python, Windows, Ingres. You may be required to mentor and coach junior developers. Note: You will be required to undergo security clearance for this role if you dont ideally already possess this.
