Network Design and Support Analyst Hertfordshire - Contract A leading financial company based in Hertfordshire requires a Network Design and Support Analyst. This role is extremely varied and demands a flexible and professional approach in dealing with new project requests. All team members must be able to communicate at all levels. They must be able to maintain a professional customer/supplier relationship and have an adaptable and pragmatic approach in learning and developing new skills. Skills and Experience Required and#x0095; Must deliver solutions into the network management team for proactive management. and#x0095; Must be able to prioritise workloads and manage customer expectations. and#x0095; Must be able to work individually or within a team in order to deliver work streams and projects on time and within budget. and#x0095; Must have a minimum of 5 years IT experience in a project design and support role. and#x0095; Cisco accreditations would be highly desirable. and#x0095; Must have a broad range of Data and Telecommunications skills. and#x0095; Must have a good working knowledge of the most common routing protocols, including RIP, OSPF and BGP. and#x0095; Must have a practical working knowledge of the following protocols and technologies and#x0096; TCP/IP, ATM, ISDN, MPLS. and#x0095; Must have a working knowledge of Voice Over IP. and#x0095; Must have a practical working knowledge of security products, including and#x0095; Cisco and Net screen firewalls. and#x0095; Must have an in depth working knowledge of the Cisco product range, in particular Catalyst 6500, 7200, 3600 and 2600 range. and#x0095; Must have proven experience of designing LAN, WAN and Remote Access networks. and#x0095; Must be able to produce quality documentation and diagrams using MS Office and MS Visio. and#x0095; Must be able to adhere to change management policies and procedures. and#x0095; A Financial or Banking background would be beneficial. and#x0095; Above all, must have the willingness to develop new skills and take on new challenges.
